From Early Detection to Scalable Lung Cancer Screening

Coreline Soft will participate in the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC 2026), taking place from September 12–15, 2026, at COEX in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Hosted by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, WCLC brings together the global thoracic oncology community across prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, research, and patient advocacy. The 2026 congress is expected to welcome more than 7,000 international participants and feature over 130 sessions and workshops.
At WCLC 2026, Coreline Soft will present how AI is evolving beyond pulmonary nodule detection to support the broader operational requirements of lung cancer screening.

From Detecting Nodules to Managing Screening Pathways

Lung cancer screening is not completed when a pulmonary nodule is detected.
Effective programs must also support consistent measurement, comparison with prior imaging, risk assessment, structured reporting, follow-up scheduling, and quality management across repeated examinations.
As screening programs expand, the role of AI is therefore changing. The question is no longer limited to whether an algorithm can identify a finding. Healthcare systems increasingly need to understand whether AI can operate reliably within real clinical workflows and support longitudinal screening at scale.

What Coreline Soft Will Showcase

At WCLC 2026, Coreline Soft will introduce AI-powered technologies supporting the lung cancer screening pathway from initial LDCT analysis to longitudinal follow-up.
AVIEW LCS Plus supports pulmonary nodule detection, quantitative volumetric analysis, comparison with prior examinations, and Volume Doubling Time calculation. These capabilities are designed to assist radiologists in evaluating changes over time and maintaining consistency across repeated screening examinations.
Coreline Soft will also present its multi-disease analysis approach, which uses a single low-dose chest CT examination to provide additional information related to COPD, emphysema, and coronary artery calcification alongside lung nodule assessment.
The company’s broader operational strategy includes AVIEW HUB, a centralized platform designed to support multi-center reading, quality control, data anonymization, and standardized screening workflows.

Recent Milestones: From AI Software to Clinical Infrastructure

Coreline Soft’s recent progress reflects a wider transition from standalone AI software toward integrated clinical infrastructure.

In Germany, LDCT lung cancer screening entered statutory reimbursement in April 2026, with dedicated EBM billing codes covering not only the examination but also second reading, structured reporting, follow-up, and quality-related processes. Coreline Soft has aligned its German strategy with these operational requirements through AVIEW LCS, AVIEW LCS Plus, and AVIEW HUB. Its solutions are currently used at institutions including Charité, Heidelberg, Bonn, and Klinikum Chemnitz.
The company has also partnered with Raya Diagnostics to integrate its AI technology into the RayaONE radiology platform across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. By embedding AI results directly into existing RIS and PACS workflows, the partnership is intended to extend standardized screening environments beyond large academic hospitals to broader radiology networks.

In the United States, Coreline Soft has launched a clinical validation program for next-generation solutions, including opportunistic pulmonary nodule detection on cardiac CT and quantitative imaging biomarkers for lung disease. The company currently holds 12 FDA 510(k) clearances and has contributed to more than 500 peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations based on the AVIEW platform.

Together, these milestones demonstrate how the company is expanding from algorithm validation toward workflow integration, longitudinal monitoring, and clinical adoption across multiple healthcare systems.

Why This Matters at WCLC 2026

WCLC brings together professionals across the full lung cancer pathway, from prevention and screening to treatment and survivorship. This multidisciplinary context makes it an important forum for discussing what happens after a screening CT is performed.
At Coreline Soft’s booth, visitors can explore:
• AI-supported pulmonary nodule detection and volumetric analysis
• Longitudinal comparison and follow-up support
• Multi-disease insights from a single LDCT examination
• Structured reporting and standardized screening workflows
• Operational models for multi-center lung cancer screening
